Regional Clergy chapter lunch in the 3 Craws yesterday – good food, good chat and a laugh or two with colleagues and pals.
When I was in Ayrshire the chapter met quarterly, and had serious discussion about various things – from book reviews to sermon planning, often over a meal at a colleague’s home. When I moved to Glasgow, the local chapter didnt meet. I missed it, so I nagged and nagged at regional council until 3 of us started to meet regularly, and we are now joined on a regular basis by others from the region also – good stuff 🙂
Today – burn some palm crosses for tomorrow and make pancakes for whoever manages to get here tonight. Bring your favourite topping and a drink to share if you’re in the area, you will be welcome. All will be fun as long as I don’t burn the pancakes and feed everyone palm crosses!
